Pioneer Associates

A KC Pioneer Associate is someone that the Pioneers have come to know and consider a special friend. Associates can help the Pioneers with various events and functions, including Trails End. Associates differ somewhat from regular members. They are welcome to participate in meetings, but do not pay monthly dues, and cannot vote. The Pioneers have three types of Associate members:

• In-Town Associates live within a 50 mile radius of Kansas City.
• Out of Town Associates live outside the Kansas City Area.
• Honorary Associate membership is a status bestowed upon individuals who have routinely supported the Pioneers. [Kind of like being drafted]

Associate Members receive...

• A small patch bearing the club's Colors to wear on their vest.
• A subscription to the quarterly newsletter. [Note: Unfortunately, the newsletter is currently in hiatus. When it gets restarted, associates will be included in mailings.]
• Periodic notification of upcoming Pioneer events.
• Associates are also welcome to attend KC Pioneer meetings.

The initial fee for Associate membership is $15 (U.S.). The annual membership renewal fee is $10 (U.S.)

To become an associate member, you will need to fill out an application. Then mail it to the KC Pioneers along with the following:

• The reason you would like to support the KC Pioneers
• A photo of yourself. (No nude photos please)
• A check drawn on a U.S. bank and payable in U.S. funds to "KC Pioneers"
